Affiliate Disclosure
Effective date: 8 October 2026
This course is paid for by affiliate commission. This page explains exactly how that works, where the links are, and what the arrangement does and does not change about what you are reading.
The short version
Three pages of this site — the home page, Step 2 and Step 3 — carry a link to a game publisher's website. Those links are paid affiliate links. If you follow one and create an account, play for the first time, or make a purchase, the affiliate network that operates the link pays INAKA s.r.o. a commission. You pay nothing extra for having arrived through us, and the price you see is the publisher's own price.
Where the links are, precisely
- Home page, in the section headed "Where a specific title appears in this course, and why".
- Step 2, at the end of the section on using your notes, where you are asked to read a publisher's pages against what you have written down.
- Step 3, at the end of the section on telling a real site from a copy, where you are asked to apply the four-document method to a real example.
Each of those links carries a line of its own, immediately beside it, saying that it is a paid affiliate link, and the same statement appears in a box under the opening sentences of the home page, before the list of steps. The links go directly to the destination address, so you can see where you are going in the status bar before you click, and they open in a new tab.
There are no other paid links anywhere on this site. Links to government and regulator sites earn nothing and never will. Nobody has paid for a mention, a position in a list or a favourable sentence.
What the commission pays for, and what it does not decide
The commission covers the cost of writing, hosting and reviewing the course. There is no other revenue: no advertising, no sponsorship, no paid placement, no data sold to anyone — there is no data, as the Privacy Policy sets out.
Here is the part worth being exact about, because vagueness here is how these pages usually go wrong.
What the commercial relationship does decide: which product is named. Star Stable Online appears in this course because INAKA s.r.o. has an affiliate relationship with the network that operates the link, under which commission is payable on sign-up, first play and purchases. No editorial comparison selected it, and you should not read its presence here as a judgment that it is better than anything else.
What the commercial relationship does not decide: everything else. It does not decide what the five steps say, what the checklists ask you to do, or what conclusion you reach. The checklists were written before any link was placed, and they were deliberately written to be title-neutral: every item asks you to check something about whatever game you are actually considering, which may well be a different one. No step tells you to buy anything, and Step 3 is written to make stopping an easy and respectable outcome.
What decides the content instead: the sequence of decisions a household genuinely has to make, and the published guidance of Australian regulators. The editorial method on the About page describes how the course was built, which source each step relies on, and how often it is checked. That page is the honest account of our process, and it says the same thing this one does about the commercial relationship.
What we do and do not claim about the product named
We state one thing about Star Stable Online: it runs an affiliate programme that pays commission on sign-up, first play and purchases. That is the limit of what we know, so we do not describe what it costs, which devices or ages suit it, how it plays or how it compares with anything. Where you might expect such a claim, the course instead gives you a method for reading the publisher's own pages.
You can finish this course without following a link
If you remove the three affiliate links, nothing in the course stops making sense and no instruction becomes impossible to follow — the example simply becomes whatever game your household is considering, which is how most readers will use it anyway. That is a deliberate constraint and the practical test we apply when reviewing the site.
Australian consumer law
Under the Australian Consumer Law, businesses must not engage in misleading or deceptive conduct, and that covers how a commercial relationship is disclosed as much as what is said about a product. This page exists to meet that standard plainly rather than in small print. The ACCC administers that law and explains what it requires.
Trademarks
All brand names on Neutralform, Star Stable Online among them, are the property of their owners. Except for the paid affiliate links described on our funding page, none of those owners is affiliated with Neutralform, and none has endorsed or sponsored it.
This site is not an official source for any game, not authorised by any publisher, and not a reseller. It uses no publisher's logo, wordmark, artwork or screenshots.
Questions about this arrangement
If anything on this page is unclear, or if you think a disclosure is missing somewhere it should appear, write to info@neutralform.online and we will answer and, if you are right, fix it.
